Recommended Reading: 'Keeper Of Time,' A New Film About The History And Evolution Of Horology

Sometimes it’s difficult to fail to remember that this little side interest/fixation of our own is still rather specialty. Not every person knows the distinction between programmed, quartz, and physically twisted watches; barely any know the intricate details of the watchmaking and gathering world as well. Prompt Keeper of Time, a narrative movie delivered and coordinated by Michael Culyba that investigates the historical backdrop of horology, mechanical watchmaking, and the idea of time itself. Today the film’s creation group dispatched a Kickstarter page to help get the film across the end goal, and it merits investigating both what they’ve done and what they desire to accomplish with the completed film.

The film spins around a progression of meetings with fake watch prices industry figures, including our own personal Nick Manousos (who likewise fills in as the film’s horological advisor), Talking fake watch prices alum William Massena , watchmaker François-Paul Journe, and HODINKEE CEO/author Ben Clymer, in addition to numerous others. The film is co-created by Emmy Award-winning film and TV supervisor Shelby Siegel (The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst), and is expected for discharge in October 2019.
